ZAGREB, CROATIA – After a stunning performance at FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Croatian football national team won the 3rd place after beating Morocco 2:1 for the bronze medal.
Our national flag carrier, Croatia Airlines, had an honor to bring back our football heroes to Zagreb on a flight from Doha, Qatar. 9A-CTH was the Airbus A319 that operated the flight today between Doha and Zagreb, with the football team onboard.
The aircraft landed at Zagreb Airport at 17:24 CET and our players after landing were boarded a national team bus that drove them to the center of the city where more than 80 000 people gathered to welcome them.
