AirPod – waiting rooms of the future?

The end of discomfort while waiting on airports for all passengers that were in a situation where they crave for peace and quiet, far from people and noise. Anyhow, Slovenian startup has created a solution; company AIRPOD offers a high-quality performance of private lounge space at airports that in a simple way solves the problem of privacy on the airports. Now it is possible, instead of expensive lounge area, to rent a private space with services that provide maximal comfort for the relatively low price.

Level of service

Users of Airpod enjoy the benefits of noise reduction, tinted glass and a possibility of enjoying with relaxing music by their choice and also have Internet access and flight status information, as well as online stream videos or TV channels by their choice.  There is also a luggage compartment and the necessary outputs for electricity supply. Reservations are made exclusively through the application, which can be used to monitor the available time of each capsule. The business model of the company includes the integration of blockchain technologies. Therefore, it is possible to pay reservation with cryptocurrencies. An hour of using Airpod will cost you 10 to 15 €, considerably less than the cost of using similar content. Waiting rooms of the future

Several capital cities in the world have implemented solutions for the passenger leisure of various airlines, so in the cities like Helsinki, Tallinn, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi it is possible to rent similar spaces for sleeping on the airport. Considering that this accommodation costs less than a hotel, targeted users are of less paying capacity, that are in the time of growth of LCC airlines (LowCost Carrier), and are more and more frequent on the airports.
