Recently we have witnessed a remarkable feat by our dear colleague Ing. Victor Manuel Del Castillo.
In honoring his accomplishment we decided to interview our Ing. Victor Manuel in regards to his Certificate of Appointment from FAASTeam.
FAASTeam is US Federal Aviation Administration Safety team whose mission is to improve the Nation’s aviation accident rate by conveying safety principles and practices through training, outreach, and education; while establishing partnerships and encouraging the continual growth of a positive safety culture within the aviation community.
Ing. Victor Manuel Del Castillo joined the exclusive team in May 2007 as a representative for mainly Spanish speaking countries.
Ing. Victor Manuel said:
“Twelve years ago, I was selected by the FAASTeam (Federal Aviation Administration Safety Team) that belongs to the FAA of the United States of America to become their safety volunteer representative for Latin America.
During those 12 years we have given a number of free conferences related to Risk Management, Aviation Safety, Safety Management, CRM, Human Factors and SMS among other issues, we have also permanently granted discounts and scholarships to our courses, all of which on behalf of FAASTeam.
Today I received my renewal letter and updated FAASTeam credential.
I am pleased to have fulfilled my moral commitment to the Federal Aviation Administration and the Spanish speaking aviation community to contribute our experience of more than 49 years in this field.
Thanks to the followers in our social nets, every time you make “like” you are strengthening aviation safety, thanks to each of the 21,000 attendees of our courses and conferences in the Americas and thanks to those who directly and personally give us their endorsement.”
Ing. Victor Manuel’s certificate of appointment
We congratulate and wish all the best for our Ing. Victor Manuel Del Castillo in many years to come as a role-model in aviation safety!
